Frank Vajda, No. 1 machine shop

Frank Vajda, 92, formerly of Freemansburg and a resident of Westminster Village since 2007, died May 16, 2015. He was a son of the late Stephen and Rose (Kerchmar) Vajda.

He was a Bethlehem Vo-Tech graduate.

He was a machinist in the #1 machine shop at the Bethlehem Steel Company until he retired.

He was member of St. John's Windish Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

He was a member of U.S.W.A. Local 2599.

He is survived by nieces and nephews, including Diane Devarics, Linda and Jerry Evans, Cecilia Good, Stephen and Cindy Vajda, and Bruce and Sandy Vajda. He was predecease by two sisters, Cecelia Vajda and Rose Devarics; and three brothers, Charles, Stephen, and Paul.
