Clark E. Gower of Fullerton, Whitehall Township, died May 25, 2015.
He and his wife Hilda A. Gower celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary Nov. 9, 2014.
Born in 1922, in Kunkletown, he was the son of the late Quinton and Rosa Gower.
He served his country in World War II with the 475th Anti-Aircraft Unit in the South Pacific and then worked at Bethlehem Steel for 36 years until retiring in 1981.
He was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Fullerton, throughout his life.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Vaughn and his wife, Robin Flemming, of Bethlehem; Larry and his wife, Connie, of Schnecksville; Joanne Poelker and her husband, John, of Fort Myers Fla.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Marion Butz and Annetta Geiger and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by brothers; Harold, Emmett, Robert, Alton, Wellington, and Delbert; and sisters Faye, Jean Cope and Mae Kleintop.
Calling hours will be 10-11 a.m. May 29 in the church, 835 3rd St. Whitehall, with services officiated by the Rev. Martha S. Sipe at 11 am.
Burial will be private.
Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund.
Arrangements were made by Gilbert Funeral Home, Whitehall.
