Ned P. Moyer, 68, of Allentown, died May 15, 2015, surrounded by his family in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

The loving husband of Carol A. (Mengel) Moyer, they were married 42 years, last October.

Born in Sellersville, he was a son of the late Alfred and Elsie (Linde) Moyer.

He worked in sales and as a store manager at Bastian Carpet One for 38 years before retiring in 2011.

A member of the Alburtis Rod and Gun Club, he also was a member of the West Branch Gun Club.

He honorably and faithfully served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam and was a member of the VFW.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Fogelsville.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing at the cabin with his brother, son, nephews and cousins.

He devoted his life to spending time with his family and cherished the time with his wife, children, grandchildren and grandpuppies.

The family will truly miss his presence but cherish their memories.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Douglas and wife, Jessica, of Breinigsville; daughter, Jennifer wife of Joseph Rosko of Alburtis, brother Barry and wife, Carol, of Fogelsville; grandchildren Michael and Matthew Rosko, Cole Moyer; a granddaughter arriving in July; nieces and nephews.
