The Emmaus Kiwanis Club hosts the local version of the Kiwanis International Eliminate Project Maternal/Neonatal Tetanus 5K Walk in the Rose Garden, Allentown, May 9. Tetanus can be transmitted from a pregnant mother to her baby and can be fatal within days. The walk raises funds to purchase medical interventions for the disease.
