Dolores M. "Dolly" Updegrove, 85, of Dev-onshire Park Apartments, formerly of Gordon Street, Allentown, died May 11, 2015, in the Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Elmer H. "Smokey" Updegrove who died June 22, 2004. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Theodore C. Hartman, Sr. and Dorothy (Moyer) Hartman.

She graduated from Allentown High School and was an executive secretary at the former PPL, Allentown, until her marriage. She then became an engraver and embroiderer for Gebhardts, Allentown, until retiring in 1992.

She is survived by a daughter, Debra Jayne and her husband Alan R. Flamish, of Lugoff, S.C.; sister, Eleanor Raguse; brothers, Theodore C. Hartman, Jr., Gary Hartman, all of Calif.; grandchildren, Ursula, Ava, Erika, Brion; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Edward; nieces; nephews. She was predeceased by a son, James M.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Salvation Army, 344 N. 7th St. Allentown, 18102.
