Dawn J. Bowers, 58, of Emmaus, died May 5, 2015, at Pennsburg Manor, Pennsburg. She was the wife of Henry "Chip" V. Bowers. They celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary April 2015. Born in Lehighton, she was the daughter of the late Martha (Eisenbach) Snyder and Donald Snyder.
She graduated from William Allen High School in 1974.
She was a customer service representative at various companies for several years.
She was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and liked taking trips to Penn State with her husband.
She is survived by her husband; children, Christina L. and her husband Mark B. Stumer, of Manhattan, Corey J. and his wife Jayme L. Trainer, of Emmaus; brothers, Randall L. Snyder, of Lake Lure, N.C. and Gary L. Snyder, of Medley, Fla.; sister, Donna M. Sonday, of Allentown; sister-in-law, Susan Trainer, of Allentown; sister-in-law, Barbra Silvert; brother-in-law Bruce and mother-in-law Evelyn; grandchildren, Harrison A. Stumer, Willow A. and Hazel L. Trainer; nieces, Wendy Sarama, Stephanie Snyder-Cornwell, Carly Snyder and Sarah Sonday; nephews, Todd Snyder, Brent Snyder and Gary. She was predeceased by a brother, Terry Snyder.
Arrangements were made by the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
