Students from The Press circulation area were among those who won medals at the Skills-USA state championships in Hershey.

Quinn Strohl, a Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School and Northampton Area High School student, won a gold medal in the Collision Repair Technology category.

Julian Kingsley, an LCTI and Catasauqua High School student, won a gold medal in the Web Design category.

Quinn and Julian will represent Pennsylvania at the National Leadership & Skills Conference June 22-27 in Louisville, Ky.

Matthew Madura, an LCTI and Whitehall High School student, earned a bronze medal in the Building Maintenance Custodial category.

Emily Viola, a BAVTS and Northampton Area High School student, earned a bronze medal in the Cosmetology category.
