Maryrose Paxson, 75, of Allentown, died May 6, 2015, in Saint Luke's Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Thomas W. Paxson for 52 years.
Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (Boyle) Donahue.
She was a 1958 graduate of Coaldale High School and Lehigh Carbon Community College.
She was a licensed practical nurse and worked for many years at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest on Neurology Unit 6A.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Allentown, where she was a parish nurse and the funeral coordinator. She helped with the attic treasures section of the parish festivals.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Ann and her husband Roger Kichline, and Karen Beth and her husband Richard Jennings Jr., all of Allentown; a son, Thomas F. and his wife Cindy of South Whitehall Township; five grandchildren, Ashley and her husband Adam Hennessey, Melissa and her husband Ben Snyder, and Samantha, Daniel and John Jennings; a great-grandson, Jude Thomas; a sister, Margaret and her husband Barry Stauffer of Alexandria, Va.; and two nephews, Kenneth and Scott Crane.
