John "Big John" M. Rambeck, 44, of Catasauqua and formerly of Whitehall, died May 8, 2015, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Frank A. and Anna Marie (Benkovic) Rambeck.

He was a busboy for Chik-Fil-A restaurant, Whitehall.

He was a sports fan and a supporter of Whitehall High School.

He is survived by a sister, Justina Ann Sommer of Whitehall; and a nephew, Joseph Sommer of Orefield.
