Herbert J. Bitenc, 71, of Northampton, died May 4, 2015, at his home. He was the husband of Marie (Dombroski) Bitenc for 27 years.

Born in Maribor, Yugoslavia, he was a son of the late Louis and Herta (Melhar) Bitenc.

He was a manager for Utility Propane, Chester, N.J., for 28 years until he retired.

He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.

He was a member of the Liberty Hose Company 2, Citizen Hose, and Safety First Volunteer Fire companies, all in Easton.

He was predeceased by a sister, Vera Gross.
