Marjorie Simmons Crane Cafouros, 89, of Allentown, died May 8, 2015, at Hospice House of St. Lukes VNA, Bethlehem, with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Lucas E. Cafouros. Born in Egypt, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Hattie (Peifley) Simmons.

Before retiring in 1977, she worked for 30 years as a buyer at Hess's Department Store. As a buyer, she was able to travel the world making selections. She later obtained a real estate license to assist her husband who was the owner of Cedar Crest Realty. After their retirement, they enjoyed cruises and traveling to Key West, Fla.

She was a member of Cedar Lutheran Church, Cetronia.

Her favorite past time was outdoor gardening.

She is survived by a son, Jeffrey S. Crane and his wife Patricia, of Allentown; brother Curt Simmons, of Ambler; granddaughter, Danielle Crane. She was predeceased by a sister, Doris Zimpfer.

Services will be held 11 a.m. May 15 at the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. A calling hour will begin 10 a.m.
