Joyce E. Wambaugh, 54, of Alburtis, died peace- fully May 8, 2015, at her residence. She was the wife of Michael R. Wambaugh, to whom she was married for over 33 years. Born in Tacoma, Wash., she was a daughter of Myron and Lillie M. (Leithead) Schmidt, of Tacoma, Wash.

Before retiring, she worked as an LPN.

She was a member of Zion Lehigh Church, Alburtis and also the Alburtis Lions Club.

She is survived by her husband; parents; son, Michael A., of Alburtis; daughter, Angela M., of Leesburg, Va.; brother Lou and his wife Kathy; sisters, Diane and her husband Ken Smith; Rosanne and her husband Phil Howitt; Barbara and her husband Russ Meadows, all of Tacoma.

Contributions may be made in her memory to the church.

Services will be held 11 a.m. May 16 at Zion Lehigh Church, 8926 Spring Creek Road, Alburtis, 18011. Calling will begin 10 a.m. Arrangements were made by the Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville.
