The Center for Adult Literacy at Northampton Community College is offering a free college transition course from May 11-June 17 at the NCC Fowler Southside Center, 511 E. Third St., Bethlehem. The course will run from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The course will focus on providing students with the support needed to successfully transition to postsecondary education.
College and career preparation activities, as well as higher-level reading, writing and mathematics, will be included.
The course is free and open to students who are interested in attending NCC or other higher education institutions. Students must be Pennsylvania residents, be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED diploma.
Prior to the course, students must attend a student orientation, which will include assessment testing.
