Julia A. Valent, 77, formerly of Whitehall and Allentown, died April 29, 2015, at home. She was the wife of the late Joseph H. Kloiber and the late John F. Valent.

Born in Cementon, she was a daughter of the late Michael J. and Julia T. (Groller) Prevoznik.

She was a paraprofessional at Sheridan Elementary School, Allentown, until she retired.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Allentown.

She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Kloiber-Rohlfing and her husband, Brett, of Greensburg; a son, Joseph J. and his wife, Michele, of Center Valley, with whom she resided; three grandchildren, Cassidy, Joseph and Emily; three brothers, Michael Jr., Joseph and Richard; and two sisters, Barbara Unger and Joan Nagle.

She was predeceased by a son, Stephen Prevoznik; a brother, John; and a sister, Anna Hammel.
