Franklin J. Gibson, Sr., 78, of Wescosville, died April 21, 2015, in his home. He was the husband of Yvonne Gibson to whom he was married for 18 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Samuel J. and Nellie E. (Lauendurg) Gibson.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years.

He worked at Mack Trucks, Inc., for 30 years, retiring in 1995.

He is survived by his wife; children, Diane Baumer, Sharon Polster, Franklin J., Jr., Brian and Shawn; stepchildren, Thomas Yost, Wendy McLean and Estelle Ramaglia; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, James and a brother, James.
