Francis J. Barnyak

Francis J. Barnyak, 77, of Macungie, died April 24, 2015, in his home. He was the husband of Gail M. (Martin) Barnyak. They celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this past September. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Joseph S. and Pauline (Sebesta) Barnyak.

He was a woodworker for Reeb Mill Works, Bethlehem prior to his retirement. He was an expert at restoring antiques and was the owner/operator of the Francis Barnyak Antiques store in Allentown for many years. Prior to owning his business he worked for the former Greenberg Antique Shop in Allentown.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Allentown.

He was an avid fisherman and was an expert at completing large picture puzzles in record time.

His grandchildren and great grandchildren brought him tremendous joy during his lifetime.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Lucinda and her husband Eugene Krim, of Wyomissing and Jennifer Schimmel, of Overland Park, Kan.; stepson, Donald "Jake" Trumbore, of Lyons Station; two sisters, Marie Hummel, of Lehighton and Madeline and her husband James Yocum, of Danielsville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, James W. and Michael J.
