Lydia M. Kachline, 93, of Claremont, Los Angeles County, Calif., formerly of Modesto, Calif., and Lehigh County, died March 28, 2015, in Southern California. She was the wife of the late Clifford Hiester Kachline who died in 2005. Born in Upper Milford Township, she was a daughter of the late Erwin O. and Anna C. (Laubach) Heintzelman.

She worked for the former Bee Automotive Co., Allentown.

She was a member of the Lutheran congregation of the former Egypt Union Church, Whitehall Township.

She is survived by a daughter, Ellen and her husband John Laszlo with whom she resided; son, Bruce C., of Morgan City, La.; grandchildren, Alexandra Laszlo, Cliff T. Laszlo, Michael and his wife Erin; great-grandchildren, Hazel and James.
