Shirley L. Cook, 79, of Whitehall, died MArch 26, 2015, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of John L. Cook Sr. for 60 years.

Born in Fullerton, she was a daughter of the late Charles D. and Lean (Heiney) Eck.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, John L. Jr. of Whitehall and Gary L. of Breinigsville; four daughters, Mary A. Phillips of Morgantown, Donna M. Johnson of Whitehall, Robin L. of Palmerton, and Nancy A . of Whitehall; a sister, Mildred S. Heck of Allentown; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by eight brothers; and a sister.
