Richard "Dick" K. Thomas, 83, of Whitehall, died April 3, 2015, at home.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Henry J. and Edith M. (Deily) Thomas.
He was a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.
He worked in the bindery department of Chernay Printing, Coopersburg, until he retired in 1993.
He was a member of the Coplay Saengerbund and of their traveling bowling league for many years.
He is survived by a daughter, Colleen, with whom he resided; seven sisters, Grace Peters of Florida, Janet and her husband Edward Searfass of Allentown, Bobbi and her husband Gene Shannon of Florida., Sandra Eastwood of Ormrod, Linda Gray of Reading, Sue Koval of North Carolina, and Debra and her husband Michael McBeth of Alburtis; four grandchildren, Tracy, Thomas, Marcie and Brandon; and extended family.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Christine M. Holmes; a sister, Nancy Moats; and a brother, Donald "Jack" Thomas.
