Mark H. Fandl, 64, of Catasauqua, died April 8, 2015, at his residence. He was the husband of Sandra J. (Slough) Fandl for 45 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Walter and Peggy (Eckert) Fandl.

He was in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was in the engine room of the U.S S. Bowen.

He worked in the powerhouse of the Brei-nigsville brewery for 40 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Brian; a daughter, Jeanette Abbott; five grandchildren, Britney and Jessica Fandl and Emily, Brianna and Joshua Abbot; and a brother, Matthew.
