Joyce G. Bachman, 80, of Allentown and formerly of Walnutport, died April 4, 2104, at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown Campus, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Raymond H. Bachman Sr.

Born in Whitehall Township, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Edna (Stofflet) DeLong.

She was a sewing machine operator for Cross Country Clothes, Whitehall (Egypt) for 35 years until its closing in 1989. She worked for Vinart Dealership, Whitehall, in housekeeping for several years until she retired.

She is survived by three sons, Raymond H. Jr. and his wife Vickie of Slatington, Thomas L. of Northampton, and Jeffrey T. and his wife Rachel of Lehighton; a daughter, Joann M. Meyer of Slatington; two brothers, Mahlon and his wife Jean DeLong of Laurys Station; and Arthur DeLong of Friendsville, Tenn.; a sister, Mildred and her husband Philip Vitovich of Coplay; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.

She was predeceased by a son, William Bachman; two brothers; and a sister.
