Frances R. Schaeffer, 84, of Emmaus, died April 9, 2015, surrounded by her family in the home of her son, Daniel. She was the wife of the late LaVerne B. Schaeffer who died July 16, 2006. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Anthony M. and Amelia M. (Szomorovsky) Tomasovic.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Emmaus.

She is survived by a daughter, Anita Hoffert, of Emmaus; sons, David and his fiance Kim Tortorelli, of Nanticoke, Kenneth and his wife Mary, of Macungie and Daniel and his wife Deborah, of Emmaus; sister, Agnes Yandle; six grandsons; seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by Patricia, Michael and Linwood.
