Pauline Kahr, 82, formerly of Allentown, died Feb. 27, 2015, at Cedarbrook-Fountain Hill Annex. She was the wife of the late Frank Kahr.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Cecilia (Bauman) Haftl.
She was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School.
She worked at General Electric for 33 years until she retired.
She was a waitress at both the Coplay Saengerbund and the Edelweiss Haus, Northampton, for many years.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Fullerton.
She was a member of the Austrian Vets and the Allgermeiner, both in Allentown.
She is survived b y a daughter, Judith of Bethlehem Township; a son, Richard and his wife Susan of Whitehall; three grandchildren, Michael and his wife Erica Kahr, Jason and his wife Audra Kahr, and Alyssa Kahr; four great-grandchildren, Hailey, Ryan, Joshua and Sophia; nieces; and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Rudolph Haftl; and two sisters, Julia Klepeisz and Theresa Vollman.
