Frank Koren Sr., 87, of Northampton and formerly of Orefield, died March 15, 2015, at ManorCare Health Services, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of the late Elva R. (Smith) Koren.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Joseph and Theresa (Halese) Koren.
He was a staff sargeant in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a photo engraver for 40 years at the former Tarkett, Fullerton, until he retired in1993.
He was a member of Morgenland Union Church, Orefield.
He is survived by three sons, Frank Jr. and his wife Sandra of Orefield, Daniel M. and his wife Ann of Neffs, and Gregory and his wife Kathy of Northampton; a sister, Elizabeth Wuchter of Northampton; five grandchildren, Kristofer, Megan, Jarrett, Kelly and Cassidy; and eight great-grandchildren, Abby, Aubree, Ashlyn, Addision, Jakob, Justin, Brayden and Roman.
He was predeceased by four brothers, Joseph, Steven, William, photo engraver, and James.
