Anna Sawka, 89, of Northampton, died March 24, 2015, at Alexandria Manor, Bath. She was the wife of the late John Sawka. Born in North Whitehall Township, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Theresa (Romanova) Shelak.

She was a seamstress for the former Tama Manufacturing Co., Northampton.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton, its choir and its pierogi volunteers. She sang in the Millennium Choir.

She is survived by sons, Andrew and his wife Cynthia of Walnutport, Paul and his wife Susan of Northampton; daughter Rosemarie, wife of Kermit Hahn of Northampton; daughter-in-law, Donna Jean of Endicott, N.Y.; grandchildren, John II, Anthony, Julie, Brian, Heather, Alex, Michael, Shawn, Brittany; great-grandchildren, Haven, Gavin, Mary Grace; sister, Mary Kreglow of of Northampton; brother, Joseph Shelak of Pittsburgh. She was predeceased by a son, John, Jr. and siblings, John, Andrew, Katherine and Helen.

Contributions may be made in her name to St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, in care of the funeral home, 317 Chestnut St., Coplay.
