Serges J. Salivonchik Sr., 76, of Whitehall, died March 12, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Fay (Miller) Salivonchik for 51 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late John and Olga (Grason) Salivonchik.
He was a 1956 Catasauqua High School graduate and was the class president. He was a graduate of Muhlenberg College and of the Temple University School of Dentistry. He earned a fellowship degree.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for two years.
He practiced dentistry for 46 years in Whitehall.
He was a member of the American Dental Association, Pa. Dental Association, Lehigh County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry.
He was a member of the Whitehall Lions Club and the Catasauqua Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Dr. Serges J. Jr. and his wife Lori (Lipski); a daughter, Dr. Tanya and her husband Dr. Kevin Labosky; a brother, John and his wife Sarah Salivonchik; a nephew, John Salivonchik; and six grandchildren, Steven, Jason Gregory and William Salivonchik and Andrew, Matthew and Natalie Labosky.
