Edna S. Halcin, 79, of Coplay, died Feb. 25, 2015, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of Anthony F. Halcin for 59 years.

Born in Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Christine (Laws) Shaw.

She was a mail carrier for 27 years.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Whitehall.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Valerie and her husband Mike Breedlove of Kingston Springs, Tenn; two sons, Anthony and his wife Ryoko of Gulfport, Miss., and William and his wife Loida of Coplay; nine grandchildren, Sarah, Marty, Patrick, Anthony, Anna, Bridget, Bernadette, Christine and Nicole; and nine great-grandchildren.
