Kreidersville Cub Scout Pack 40 invites all boys in kindergarten through fourth grade to its pinewood derby, set for Saturday, April 18, 8 a.m., at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Howertown and Old Carriage roads.

Kids are asked to bring their fastest Hot Wheel/Matchbox or other toy car for the chance to race them against other kids' cars.

Cub Scouts will then participate in the pinewood derby race.

The event is free.

Cub Scout Pack 40 meets Tuesday nights, 6:45 p.m., at Good Shepherd.

A Scouting sign-up and ice cream social will be held Tuesday, May 5, 6:45 p.m., at Good Shepherd.
