Stanley E. Grois, 95, of Emmaus, died March 27, 2015. He was the husband of Mary A. (Terfinko) Grois. They would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in October. Born in Derby, Conn., he was the son of the late Marion and Genevieve (Sumaski) Gruszkowski.

He was employed at B.F. Goodrich Tire Co. for 36 years until retiring.

He received the Purple Heart while serving with the United States Army during World War II. He belonged to the Purple Heart Association.

He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.

He is survived by his wife; son, Richard and his wife Dorothy; daughter, Patricia and her husband John Litak, all of Macungie; sister, Sophie Terfinko; grandchildren, David, John, Holly and Matthew; three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters, Helen Hartman, Stella Tercha, Jenny Cech; brother, John Gruszkowski.
