Linda M. (Hennessey) Young, 60, died March 27, 2015, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus. She was the wife of David R. Young. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late William and Catherine (Allen) Hennessey.

She worked as a CNA at LifeQuest Nursing Center and loved gardening and crossword puzzles.

She was a former member of the Emmaus Fire Co. #2.

She is survived by her husband; children, Alicia and her husband Patrick Ruddell and Timothy "Tim" Reppert, Jr., all of New Tripoli and Katie and her husband James Geist, of Wake Forest, N.C.; brothers, William Hennessey, Jr. and his wife Lois, of Bokeelia, Fla. and John Hennessey and his wife, Janet, of Cape Coral, Fla.; seven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. April 2 at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville. A calling hour will be held 2 to 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
