Laura Elizabeth Berger, 36, of Macungie, died March 24, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Michael B. Berger, whom she married May 23, 2009. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of John Brown, Jr. and Pamela (Fowler) Brown, of Bethlehem.

She earned her bachelor's degree from Cedar Crest College and her master's degree from Lehigh University. She worked for Lehigh Valley Hospital as a senior educational developer.

She loved cooking, dancing and spending time with her family. An animal lover, she enjoyed caring for her pets and volunteering at local animal shelters.

She is survived by her husband; daughter, Lillianna; parents; brother, David and his wife Renee, of Orwigsburg; mother-in-law, Barbara Berger; aunt and uncle, Eileen and Dave Coursen. She was predeceased by a sister, Jennifer Brown.

Contributions may be made to Animals in Distress, Lehigh County Humane Society, Easter Seals Lehigh Valley Division or Lehigh Valley Hospice.
