The Friends of Northampton Area Public Library group will be holding its annual Vera Bradley bingo to benefit the library on Sunday, April 12 at the Northampton Memorial Community Center, 1601 Laubach Ave.

Doors open at 11 a.m., and bingo starts at 1 p.m.

A special highlight this year is the addition of a few Pampered Chef prizes. There will also be a 50/50 drawing, Chinese auction items and a bake sale.

St. John's Friendly Fifties will meet on Monday, April 13, 1 p.m., in the church's social hall. Jude's Polka Jets, featuring Jude Wasillaki, will entertain. The group is running a trip to American Music Theater in Lancaster for the "Inspire" show.

Attendees will have lunch at Fulton Steamboat.
