Edward Shegami Leggett, 66, of Catasauqua, died March 2, 2015, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Sherry (Solderich) Leggett.
Born in Kyoto, Japan, he was a son of Shizuko K. (Kurauchi) Leggett of Catasauqua and the late Gerald A. Leggett.
He was a Catasauqua High School graduate and earned an economics degree from Ursinus College. He trained with the Vidal Sassoon Academy.
He owned and operated Hair Today in Allentown, and later in Whitehall, for more than 30 years. He did hair events for British stylist Trevor Sorbie.
He drove his motorcycle to Woodstock in 1969.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Cassidy and Natalie; three sisters, Betty Oswalt, Karen and her husband Patrick Fioriglio, and Linda and her husband Rudy Gross; two brothers, Michael Leggett and David and his wife Carrie Leggett; nieces; and nephews.
