Spare tire stolen from Jeep

Coplay police on March 18 were called to the 200 block of South Fourth Street to investigate the theft of a spare vehicle tire.

Police said an unidentified individual stole the spare tire mounted on the rear of a 2007 Jeep Liberty.

Police respond to vehicle crash

Officers were called to the Giant Foods parking lot March 16 to investigate a report of a motor vehicle crash.

According to police, Theresa Roth of Coplay backed her vehicle into a motor vehicle operated by Constance Kovacs of Northampton.

Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene, police said.

Alarm activated

Officers responded to an alarm March 20 at the American Club of Coplay, Third and Hall streets.

On arrival, the officer determined the alarm was accidentally set off.
