Carol A. Vandegrift, 68, of Northampton, died March 6, 2015, at home. She was the wife of Donald Vandegrift for 50 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late John and Arelda (Reinhardt) Schwindenhammer.

She was a secretary for Paths, Allentown, for many years until she retired.

She was a past treasurer of the American Legion, Post 470, Bath.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Dawn M. and her husband Anthony J. Weber of Northampton; a granddaughter, Ashley; and an uncle, Melvin Schwindenhammer of Stiles.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Jean Yost and Judy Schwindenhammer.
