Asbury United Methodist Church, 1533 Springhouse Road, South Whitehall will present "Tenebrae: A Memory of Light" Service of Remembrance 7 p.m. April 2 in the sanctuary.

"Tenebrae: A Memory of Light" repeats the story of Christ's weeklong passion in Jerusalem 2,000 years ago.

This Tenebrae service will feature 13 characters from the Biblical record of Christ's last week.

From disciples and followers to the powerful agents of the Roman and Jewish bureaucracy, the passing players give their personal views into the life and crucifixion of this wilderness prophet.

This year's recasting of the play includes several members of the team that developed the original production.

Asbury's Adult Choir, under the direction of Kenneth Schneider, will provide the vocal accompaniment to the speaking cast.
