Joyce E. Schmick, 87, of Emmaus, died March 17, 2015, at Weston Senior Living, Emmaus. She was the wife of the late Roscoe D. Schmick, who died June 20, 2003. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Eva S. (Swavely) Lehman.

She was an active member of Emmaus Moravian Church where she was a member of the choir, I'll Try Circle, for 74 years and the Willing Workers.

She was employed as a sewing machine operator for the former Clarfert Manufacturing of Emmaus for many years and later in life was a personal care attendant.

She is survived by children, Daniel and his wife Kim, of Emmaus, Samuel and his wife Claire, of East Lansdowne, Deborah and her husband Paul Billiard, of Lehigh Acres, Fla. and Rebekah and her husband Bart Porter, of Apple Valley, Minn; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Revere, Howard, Edward and Richard.

Memorial donations may be made to the church.
