Mary Marakovitz, 85, of Coplay, died Feb. 16, 2015, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Alex J. Marakovitz.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Martin) Samu.

She worked at the former Catori Silk Milll, Catasauqua, for several years.

She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Haas of Whitehall; a brother, Stephen Samu of Long Island, N.Y; and six nieces and nephews.
