Margaret A. Balascak, 93, of Allentown, formerly of Emmaus, died March 3, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Michael Balascak. Born in Limeport, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Drauch) Schlaner.

She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.

She is survived by children, Elaine Holmes, with whom she resided, Dennis and his wife Donna and Kathleen and her husband Larry Heintzelman; brothers, Ervin and Walter Schlaner; grandchildren, Michael Heintzelman and his wife Jamie, Gillian Heintzelman, Andrew and his wife Kelly, Kayla Bieber and 2nd Lt. Matthew and his wife Caitlin. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Lane Holmes, sisters, Leona, Emma and Theresa and brothers, Louis, Edward and John.
