Gladys Reynolds
Gladys (Lundy) Reynolds, 84, died March 6, 2015. She was the wife of the late Henri "Hank" Reynolds.
She was raised in Yonkers, N.Y., where she attended The Katharine Gibbs School. She began her career as the executive secretary to the founder of The Biow Agency, one of New York's top advertising agencies, working with the entertainment industry's top talent.
She and her husband moved to the Lehigh Valley in 1970 where they established and grew Reynolds Business Systems. She dedicated herself to the business as co-owner, CFO and the soul of the company, working right up until her death.
She was a devout Catholic, attending St. Thomas More Catholic Church, where she volunteered in the library.
She is survived by children, Suzanne and her husband Roger Bacon, and their children, Jocelyn, Clinton and Addison; Denise and her husband Alan Jennings, and their children, Stephanie, Greer and her husband Craig Dalpe, and Haley; Janine and her husband Edwin Slaughter, and their daughters, Jordan and Micah; Keith and his wife, Jessica and their sons, Jacob and Stephen; and Sharon and her husband, Kevin McCabe; two great-grandsons, Ezekiel and Xander Dalpe.
Memorial donations made be made in her name to St. Thomas More School library, c/o the church, 18103 or The Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley, 1337 E. Fifth St., Bethlehem, 18015.
A funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. March 12 in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown. Calling hours are 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 11 in the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton streets., Allentown and 10 to 11 a.m. March 12 in the church.
