Jerry W. Mensinger, 66, of Northampton, died Feb. 9, 2015, in his home.

Born in Haff Hospital, Northampton, he was a son of the late Kenneth W. and Mildred C. (Peters) Mensinger.

He was a 1966 graduate of Northampton High School.

He was a sergeant in the U.S. Marines Corps during the Vietnam era.

He worked for PPL for 34 years until he retired.

He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Indianland

He was a member of the Lehigh Hawks, Lehigh Township.

He is survived by a daughter, Lynn of Bath; a son, Brian and his wife Marie of Walnutport; a sister, Diane of Northampton; and three grandchildren, Timothy, Tara and Megan.

He was predeceased by a son, Jerry Mensinger.
