Joan Q. Perna, 78, of Emmaus, died March 2, 2015, at home. She was the wife of the late John C. Perna. Born in West Grove, she was the daughter of the late William G. and Ellen (DuRoss) Quinn.

She was a teacher, working for Lehigh Valley Child Care and Vera Cruz School, retiring in 1990.

She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

She is survived by a son, Mark D., of Emmaus; daughters, Susan P. Williams, of Emmaus and Jeannine P. and her husband Dale R. Miller, of Oley; grandchildren, Howard M. Williams III, Corey M. Williams and Christopher Q. Williams.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. March 5 in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 610 Pine St., Bally. Visitation 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
