Gerald "Jerry" J. Sywensky, 58, of Northampton, died Jan. 30, 2015, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Lisa A. (Heist) Sywensky for 33 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late William J. Sr. and Anna (Steier) Sywensky.
He was a 1974 graduate of Northampton Area High School.
He was a concrete contractor for Penn Builders, Quakertown, for the last five years. Previously, he worked in the same capacity for the former Rizzetto Contractors, Allentown, and Northampton Concrete Form.
He was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Jillian M. and her husband Jonathan Chevalier of Northampton and Anna M. and her husband Shane Hohf of York; two grandchildren, Riley and Skyler; four sisters, Anna and her husband Wayne Eichelberger, and Joan Sywensky, all of Northampton; Cathy Holderman of Whitehall and Michele Sywensky of Bethlehem; three brothers, John and his wife Carol of Northampton, Joseph of Parryville and Michael and his wife Theresa of Cherryville; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Rita Green; and two brothers, William Jr., and Richard Sywensky.
