Miller-Keystone Blood Center is in urgent need of blood donations at the 1465 Valley Center Parkway location.

Donor Resources Director Deb Otto said the inventory of red blood cells has reached critical levels.

The current level is 500 units instead of the ideal blood inventory three-day supply, or approximately 1,500 units.
