Jerry W. Eck, 61, of Old Zionsville, died Feb. 14, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Sandra J. (Arndt) Steltz. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late William and Arlene (Leibensperger) Eck.

He was a self-employed handyman throughout the Lehigh Valley.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Jennifer A. McNeely of Pemberton, N.J.; stepson, Russel L. Steltz and his wife, Jan, of Emmaus; brother, Ronald and his wife, Valerie; stepson-in-law, Troy D. Walbert; four step-grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by his stepdaughter, Charmin Walbert.

Contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist his family with funeral expenses.

Services will be held 3 p.m. Feb. 19, at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A calling hour will be held 2 to 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
