Franklin H. Marsteller

Franklin H. Marsteller, 71, of Douglasville, died Feb. 15, 2015, in Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia. He was the companion of Curtis W. Offner for 26 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Franklin L. and Helen E. (Kriebel) Marsteller.

He attended Mansfield College and Westminster Choir College. He worked for Schneck Optical, Emmaus for 35 years, retiring in 2005.

He was the organist/ choir director for First U.C.C., Royersford for 35 years. Previously he was the organist for The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus and Linfield U.C.C.

He honorably served his country in the Air Force.

He is survived by his companion; daughter, Joy and her husband Michael Barron of Bethlehem; brothers, Raymond W. of New Tripoli, Walter H. of Kutztown, and James L. of Harleysville; three grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Feb. 21, in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
