Clair R. "Chubby" Everett, 76, of Macungie, died Feb. 9, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Joan L. (Dottery) Everett. They were married for 44 years in October. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Clair G. and Annie A. (Rupp) Everett.

He worked for Steam Fitter's Union Local #420 for 28 years, retiring in 1994.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was a member of St. Paul's U.C.C, Trexlertown.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Tracy L. Zovak-Hood and her husband Allen Hood, of Trexlertown and Holly L., of Macungie; brothers, Barry G., of Whitehall and Thomas A., of Allentown; grandson, Terry L. Weaver; great-granddaughter, Brielle C. Weaver. He was predeceased by brothers, Wayne G. and Peter H.
