John A. Faryna died Jan. 16, 2015. He was the husband of Constance Faryna.

He was a son of the late Michael and Beryl Faryna.

He was a 1966 graduate of Northampton High School Class and from Morehead State University, Kentucky, in the field of biology.

He owned Heritage Cleaners. He was a finish carpenter for major companies.

He was a member of St. John Fisher Church, North Catasauqua.

He was an Eagle Scout.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Sheila and her husband George Stasko Sr. and Adelaide and her husband Gregory Heist; a brother, Robin and his wife Deborah Faryna; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.

He was predeceased by an infant brother, Michael.
