Russell E. Dreisbach Jr., 88, of Allentown, died Jan. 31, 2015, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Gilda R. (Carlini) Dreisbach. They were married for 67 years last June. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Russell E. Dreisbach, Sr. and Cora (King) Dreisbach.

He was a dispatcher and oil control flow technician for the Buckeye Pipeline for 15 years, retiring in 1989.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as a sergeant during World War II.

He was a member of the Jerusalem Western Salisbury United Church of Christ, Allentown.

He served as past president of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and was a member of the Allentown Lion's Club.

He loved to dance and listen to big band music.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Denise R. and her husband Gerald Schuler, of Krumsville; granddaughter, Candace Guelzo, of El Paso, Texas; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Russell E., III who died in 1998 and three brothers and two sisters.
