Frederick T. "Fritz" Dean, Sr., 95, of York, formerly of Macungie and Coplay, died Feb. 4, 2015, at ManorCare Health Services, York. He was the husband of the late Emily (Vandergrift) Dean. Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late Gertrude (Ribakowsky) Klingler.

He was a sheet metal worker for the Fuller Co., Catasauqua, for 27 years before retiring.

He is survived by a son, Frederick T., Jr. and his wife Corinne, of York; brothers, Frank, of Florida and Raymond, of Bloomsburg; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, David and Leonard.

Arrangements were made by the Schisler Funeral Home, Northampton.
